This Privacy Policy explains how PushNow (“we”, “us”, “the app”) handles your information. PushNow is owned and operated by LDM Digital LLC (“the company”). If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

1. Information we collect

a) Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address. We use it to send you a magic sign-in link, transactional emails (e.g. push-up request notifications), and account-related messages.

b) Workout data

Each time you complete a workout, we record:

  • The number of push-ups counted
  • The duration of the workout
  • The average time per rep
  • Experience points (XP) earned
  • The date and time

This data is stored against your account so we can show you your history, calculate streaks, power the leaderboard, and unlock achievements.

c) Profile information (optional)

If you choose to appear on the leaderboard, you provide a display name, age group, and country. These are visible to other PushNow users on the leaderboard.

d) Workout screenshots

During a workout, the app captures a still frame at the deepest and highest point of each rep. These are stored on your device only and shown to you on the results screen. They are not uploaded to our servers.

e) Camera access

We use your device’s camera in real time to count your push-ups and verify form. Frames are processed by our on-device pose-detection library (QuickPose). We do not record video, and frames are not stored or uploaded except as described in section 1(d).

f) Device and usage information

We use Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics. When the app crashes or hits an error, Sentry collects technical information (device model, OS version, a stack trace, and app breadcrumbs) to help us fix it. This data is used only for stability and debugging, is not used for advertising, and does not include your camera frames or workout photos.

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it: which screens are opened, whether onboarding is completed, when workouts are started and completed (rep counts and durations), and whether features like challenges are used. If you are signed in, these events are associated with your account ID so we can measure things like retention accurately. Analytics events never include your camera frames, workout photos, message contents, or email address. We do not use any advertising SDK, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and improve the app
  • To send you sign-in links and transactional emails you have requested (e.g. when a friend sends you a push-up request)
  • To display your stats, streaks, and leaderboard ranking
  • To verify the completion of push-up requests sent between users
  • To investigate and respond to support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Third-party services

PushNow uses the following third parties to operate. Each receives only the information needed for their specific function:

4. Where data is stored

Workout data, account information, and push-up requests are stored in Supabase, which is hosted in the United States. By using PushNow you consent to your data being processed in the United States, which may have different data protection rules than your country.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and workout data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (Settings → Account → Sign Out → Delete Account), all of your data is permanently deleted from our database. There is no soft delete or 30-day grace period. Once deleted, it is gone.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data (it is visible to you in the app at all times)
  • Correct your data (edit profile fields in the Profile tab)
  • Delete your data (Settings → Delete Account)
  • Export your data (contact us at [email protected] and we will send you a JSON file)
  • Withdraw consent (delete your account)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. The lawful basis for our processing is your consent (collected when you create an account) and our legitimate interest in operating the app.

If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion (CCPA). To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

7. Children

PushNow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Push-up requests

When you send a push-up request to a friend, their email address is shared with Resend so we can deliver the notification email. We do not use these email addresses for any other purpose. We do not have a way to send marketing email; the only outbound mail is request notifications and magic-link sign-ins.

If you receive an unwanted push-up request, sign in to the app and ignore it, since pending requests automatically expire. If you receive repeated unwanted requests from the same sender, contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate.

9. Security

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Supabase, Resend, and Google use industry-standard encryption at rest. Magic-link tokens expire after one hour and can only be used once. We do not store passwords.

10. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we will update this page and update the Last updated date at the top. For significant changes, we will also notify active users by email or in-app.
